**2nd post today**
Big game tonight... Saints vs Patriots. Now you know who I am cheering for! Hoping the Saints can get to 11-0 just like my Colts. hee hee I got this darling Magnolia (pretty sure Magnolia) image from my good friend Billie aka Myboys on SCS. I dressed him up a tad bit in the Saints colors for Angel and hand drew the logo for the Saints on his jacket! Good luck tonight Angel!!!!
Hope you have a great day.

Sneaks Day 3

I don't know about you but I am now sick of turkey. lol Oh boy... Well here we have the Prayer card and petite cross. This little list is awesome and a very creative idea. I made a few of these little prayer cards and attatched them with ribbon. I have titled them family, friends, SCS friends, Military etc. A great way to keep track of changes and answered prayers I think.
Below is the adorable Ladybug flower and sentiment Don't let it bug you. I had circles on the mind when I made this card. hee hee
All these cards fit perfectly into my little gift box that I made. Another little gift set done and ready to give away.

I wrapped some candy bars with some guitar paper I found at big lots a few months back. The boys will be giving one of these to each of their class mates this Christmas. The kids will love them, the parents won't like the huge chocolate bar, but oh well. haha
Below I took one of the Clear Boxes and cut it in half so I could make this little gift bag. On the front I used Chubby Chickadee and sentiment What a tweet.

Season of Jolly

I can't believe Thanksgiving is in a few days, the time seems to go by so darn fast anymore. Sheeesshhh... Well before we know it Dec 1st will be here and I don't have all my Christmas cards done yet. EEK.... So I am on a mission to get them done. Here is one using one of the House Mouse the boys got me. I always add sparkle to the snow but for this one I choose to leave it off. I like the white on white look, its so clean and crisp. Hope you have a wonderful Sunday!

Tag your it

Friday focus over on Flourishes newsletter today is all about *Tag your it* brought to us by Julie. How fun is that title. hee hee What a great way to start off getting some of my gift tags together. Now I am not a photographer by any means, this is the best way I found to show them. So sorry for the dorky picture. :0)
I used the All that Glitters stamp set for my tags. I also used the sentiments To and From out of the Fancy Labels set. My spellbinders labels come in really handy for the quick fancy shapes for the tags. And who doesn't love the satin ribbons... Oh yea... I popped up the pine cone shape, added a few jewels and sparkles to them all and voila, all done.

Purrfect Christmas and Rockin birthday

I had to make a quick birthday card the other day for one of the boys friends. He is very much like the boys so these guitars from the Rock On set were perfect. I masked them sideways and sponged around the edges. Very simple but for an boy perfect.
This little darling here is using the sentiment and tiny ornaments in the Meowy Christmas set also from Clear Dollar stamps . I popped the ornaments up after I cut them out on seperate paper. I added some score lines and a little sparkle. Have a wondeful day!

The Game and TS Monday

So was that a GAME or WHAT... Oh man.. I was biting my nails girls... We have a group of friends over for this Rivalry game and this year I was going to win! I lost a prime rib dinner to everyone last year, this year I was NOT going to lose. Or so I hoped. lol Needless to say we WON we WON we WON!!!! I knew not to get to excited early on because the game always go down to the last 2 min, that is when the *real* game begins... and no one was disapointed... well except ole Tom Brady. bawhahahaha
To start our game night off in good spirits here is a picture of what someone brought over framed for me. Yes they are a Patriots fan, well when his Seahawks lose that is. :0) He framed the first win of the season of Brady's for me. Blech... lol So now.. For this card with the cute little bears I went with a simple style. These little bears are so sweet with the patches and the one eye torn off by little miss innocent up there. haha

Below I have made a card using the larger tea cups in the set. I went with a soft and warm feel for the colors from a picture that I have sitting on my desk. I cut out the flower and popped it up on a dimensional, and added some sparkle to the cup.

Lampost greetings Day four

So have you enjoyed all the sneak peeks so far? Flourishes really knows how to wrap up the season don't they? Today we are using the set Lampost. This is a very versatile set for card making. I worked up a few cards for you today and a fun one as well. This one is using some basic grey paper, brads and ribbon..... very simple.

The below card is a springy birthday card very simple as well. I layered a spellbinders shape in the background and some doubled up ribbon.

For the one below I went out on a limb and tried the Snowglobe technique I found over on SCS here. What a fun shaped card. My sister is going to love this, she has a collection of different snowglobes. I used Cottage home as well as Lampost for this one. I have sparkle all over the place on the inside, but the picture wouldn't grab most of it. Laying flat this looks like the post is in front of the fence. How cool, or I think so. haha Sorry for the glare off the accetate but I couldn't get it to take without it.

Santa treats day Three

***I would like to say Thank You to all the Veteran's today as well as their families. I appreciate all you sacrifice in keeping our country safe. God Bless you and your families. May God keep you safe while you are away.***
Every year we put out a little snack for Santa. The boys really put some effort into the snacks, usually its cookies. This year we thought we would put out something he can take in the sleigh with him as he is going around house to house. hee hee This set is called Christmas Borders. I made this little treasure box to hold some hershey kisses. I can't find the template now, but I will find it and edit this later. I also stamped out the boys letter that they send to Santa each year. One of the boys started his list for you to see. And I doubt that Santa will get him his dirt bike this year, but that is why its a *wish* list right... right... lol

Below I have stamped out our special photo cards that we mail to family. This border set is perfect for photo cards. I know that family is going to like the photos being displayed in a handmade photo card verses the ones we have sent in the past. I added a few jewels to the corners and we can still write our letter on the inside. How cool is that.

Now onto the fabulous creations the girls made for you today:

Stocking and tags Day two

Happy Tuesday! Today we have some warm and fuzzy stockings for you... lol Well at least I do, this set is called Fancy Labels. I made a fun little stocking cocoa gift set for the boys teacher. I have added some marshmallows into a clear box and used two of the tags in the set for the front. The stocking set can be found from Lauren Meader here. I have been meaning to try this and finally got a chance.

Below is a candy bar that I wrapped in Basic Grey Eskimo kisses paper, added some felt snowlakes that Linda sent me. Thank you Linda, I made the little tag with mytag punches from SU. I used the sentiment and a flourishes from the Fancy Labels set. This is great for some of the neighbor kids that the boys like to play with. And it doesn't cost a whole lot. :0)

Below is some more images and sentiment from the Fancy Labels set. I made this little tag tin set full for my mom since she gives out a lot of homemade gifts for the ladies at church. I gave her a lot of ribbon to use on each since she always likes to trim them down after she adds them to the gifts. I have jewels on them, and you can see the side view of the tin at the bottom as well.

    Believe today

Good morning! I made a little 3 set of cards using the Santa, I Believe set from Flourishes. I used one of the sentiments from the set, and I also used the little holly image from the Dove and Holly set. I really like how these turned out, very simple but have a little flair with the ribbon and brads. I colored the celery one a little more on the softer side for the holly.

Below here I have another card I made a few of for my flat rate mailers (one stamp postage) for Christmas. I used the Christmas Wreath set for this one, added a few jewels and popped up the panel on dimensionals. I also scored two lines above the sentiment but its hard to see in the picture. Thanks for stopping by, hope you all have a wonderful day!
