Sneak peeks Clear Dollar Stamps

Welcome to Clear Dollar Stamps Sneak peeks! All the sets you see the next few days are available on Nov. 1st at the Clear Dollar Stamps Store. Also showing you some sneak peeks today are Lori, Katie, Laurie, Angela, Tricia, Barb, Christi, Shell, Lisa and Nancy.
The first one I am showing you today is the scripture 2 Corinthians 10:3-5. I pulled out some older basic grey paper from my stack for the background. I added some wonderful white silk ribbon for a beautiful bow to tie it off.

Next is a journal that I recovered using the scripture. I really liked how Yvonne used the lacey squares to extend it into a larger panel. She was my inspiration for the long panel and I love how it turned out. This is one of the journals I will be selling at the bazarre in a few weeks also.

This little tote I made is using the new set called Healing Scriptures. I used a clear box that is 5x7 and cut it in half the length way. Used the two halves to make two little totes. Glued the nessties to the frnt and back and added some cards. This is a 4x4 size card tote.

These are the little cards in the tote. Another item for the bizarre yes. I am still working on stuff to sell and hope that I do well. I love this new basic grey Tinsel paper. Very simple set of cards for the tote.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day.

Such joy.....

I can't even begin to tell you how much joy Ranger has brought to our family. Here he is at 19 week. Isn't he just darling? His one ear has leaned over a bit but it will go back up soon. Talk about a wonderful puppy, he is so mild tempered and just fun. His coat has lightened up quite a bit however we have read that they will darken and lighten a lot till they are about a year and then they will have their final color. Yes that is a Colts collar he has on. :0) A wonderful gift from some friends, he is right there next to me watching the games too. hee hee learned a lot with this puppy such as your slippers are wonderful to stick your nose in and fall asleep, cats and dogs can be friends and play or atleast the kitty cat next door and Ranger play just fine together, 2 am is NOT the time to want to play regardless of what he might think, sleeping with your legs in the air hugging the wall is comfortable.... for a dog. ha ha I could go on with things I am learning. :0)
Lots of things going on lately which has been why I am so quiet. I am barely getting my posts done the night before hence why there haven't been a whole lot. We put our house up on the market so that means keeping the house spotless (not that it was bad before but now we are talking spotless) all the time, making sure the kids room is always picked up that in itself is a day's work, then trying to run out the door when a realtor calls with the kids and puppy in tow is not easy. So I am taking a wee break from stamping sorta. If you don't hear from me much you know why.
Moving in the same area just needing a bigger house if we can. Found the one we want to build if the one that is about ready sells before ours does. That means we might be living with the In-Laws for a bit. GASP... I know... I know... Hopefully that house will still be available when this one sells. hee hee Nothing like having your own space.
Sneak peeks for Clear Dollar Stamps start on Thursday 28th! Thanks for stopping in and see you later this week with my sneak peeks!

TT Sentiment Focus

This is for the Timeless Tuesday challenge *Sentiment Focus* using the new Christmas Classics set from Flourishes. I think this has a country feel to it with the buttons and crochet ribbon, I like how this turned out. My swag was colored and then cut out and popped up on dimensionals. The sparkle on the greenry didn't come out in the photo very well, however IRL it looks great. I am really loving the new Basic Grey Jovial buttons and I never thought I would find myself saying I love buttons. hee hee Betty I am sure you are excited for me. :0)
Yesterday blogger like freaked out on me and wouldn't let me add pictures to my blog. I couldn't figure out what was going on. Seems to be working fine as of last night. Just glad its working again. Helping out at the school today so I will be catching up on blogs later toay. Thanks for stopping by today!

Flourishes Classic Christmas

Yes Flourishes newest release is in stores now and ready to order! In case you missed it the new sets are Rejoice, Sweets of the Season, A Gift for you and Christmas Classics. Purchase the bundle pack and save yourself some extra cash!
I started making my own gift tags at Christmas a few years ago. I thought that the tag should be special and I had ideas that were better than store bought ones. I used the cardinal from the Christmas Classics set for this years tags. I love these Spellbinders Lacey circles, they are so cool. I added a little red ruffled ribbon and some silver smoke stack satin ribbon. There is a little bit of shimmer and sparkle on the branches, however they didn't come out in the photo.

Next are some quick little treats that I made. They each have a peppermint pattie in the middle. I just love the Spellbinders lacey squares also. :0) These are super simple and make quick little gifts or door prizes.

Check out the last of the sneaks from the girls today: Leslie, Dawn, Danielle, Laura, Christine, Julie

Hope you have a fabulous weekend! Thanks for stopping by!

Flourishes Newest Release!!!

After being tempted and teased all week with the Design Team's delish samples, we are happy to report that the sets are now live and ready for the picking in the Flourishes Store! Here's a peek at....

Sweets of the Season

A Gift For You
Like we said before, this set is meant to coordinate with a handful of Spellbinders Nestabilities. See below? This shows just a few of the ways you can mix and match these stamps with Labels 14, Labels 15, Labels 16 as well as some of the square and circle compatible dies!

Christmas Classics

Keep in mind, if you buy all three in the New Release Bundle HERE, you get all three sets for 10% off! This offer is only good through October 22th!

A Gift for you

If you’ve been searching for a perfect set that could give class and elegance to your Christmas gift packaging, search no more! Today, Flourishes is sneak peaking a brand new set called, A Gift for You, and some of the Spellbinders’ team is joining them in the fun! This set was designed not only to coordinate with some of Flourishes best-selling Christmas stamp sets but with more than a handful of Spellbinders Template Dies! A Gift For You - drawn by the ever-so-talented Marcella Hawley - offers 8 different tag styles and 8 different mini sentiments to fit inside! To make sure your tags come out with a regal style and design, this set coordinates with Spellbinders Labels 14, Labels 15, Labels 16, as well as others. More details at the end of this post.

I made a cute new hot chocolate pkg. What I did was take a clear 2x3 box and cut it in half (so I could make 2 pkgs) then I cute out the pink cardstock using Nestabilities Labels die 14 and adhered it to the front and the back of the box only taping the box portion. I cut out the smaller die and created the tag with the A Gift For You set and stamped the sentiment. Before I put this on the box, I ran the white satin and pink ruffled ribbons around the box to sorta hide the tops of the clear box. Now I did trim off the top edge of the box a little bit, but the ribbon does cover it pretty good. Then I popped the panel up on dimensionals and voila. A different hot chocolate pkg than you see a lot of. :0) I made several of these in variety of colors the blue and cream ones look great also.
Next I thought I would do a more *masculine* style Christmas card for a certain friend of ours. I made a little suit jacket card. I stamped out the sentiment for the hankerchief in a little pocket and then added the little ribbon and pine cone image for the tie. Just something fun and a little different for a single guy Christmas card.

Sweets of the Season

I am so excited to share the sneaks with you this month for Flourishes. Its Christmas time this week on my blog. hee hee This set is called Sweets of the Season. Lots of fabulous gift ideas with this set. First I am going to show you the little treat boxes that I will have at the bizarre with my mom. Yep more stuff for that. lol
My friends found these boxes in pkgs of 12 at the dollar store for me. They are plain white but with a little bit of paper, ribbons and goodies they can be totally cute. The bag has some peppermint drops in them. I love these candy canes don't you? This stripped candy cane ribbon goes great with the button from the Jovial Basic Grey button collection that I tied off with some twine.
I made this cute little box using the Nestabilities Lacey Squares shape. I cut them all out with the large die, then I scored about 1/8 of an inch in right on the border essentially. Folded it out and then threaded the twine through all the loops sides, top and bottom to secure it. Nothing too heavy can go in here I have some hot chocolate packages, a tissue covered box, some candies and a little note inside for the boys teacher. I have a boy and a girl gingerbread on each side along with the sentiment. Isn't that just so cute. I tied some suede ruffled chocolate ribbon along the top as well.

Check out the wonderful Christmas gift ideas the girls created and are sharing today:

Distressed Rejoice

Now how about that I can do a card that is a little bit on the shabby side. hee hee Yesterday was the clean and crisp feeling and today we have the shabby sorta feel. Messy is more what I am thinking but that wouldn't sound creative. lol In case you missed it yesterday Flourishes showed you (and you still have time to win this stamp HERE) the new single stamp Rejoice that is coming out this Friday.

I made these cards for two challenges the Christmas Spirit challenge (one stamp with two different looks) and this one is for the FTTC88 challenge on the Flourishes Blog today. This is some of the yummy new Memory Box paper called Tinsel. I threw on a little brown gingham ribbon with the gold cord and tied it off with one of the Basic Grey Olivia buttons.
More new goodies to come tomorrow! Have a great day!

Happy Monday! I am rejoicing allright the Colts won yesterday. WHOHOO!!! That always makes my day. hee hee Rejoice is really for the new single stamp that Flourishes has a sneak for you today. This is a week full of goodies and sneaks so be sure to check back each day.

This was originally in the Rejoice set with the angel, however now we have this sentiment as a single for you. There is some sparkle on the leaves in the Rejoice but hard to see in the photo.

Details are Sketchy...

It's Friday... it's Friday... I am so glad the weekend is here. I plan to stamp most of the weekend. Now if that really happens I doubt it but that is the plan. First check out the sketch! Flourishes pre-release challenge is a sketch. What does this mean to you? Means if you play along with the sketch and post it over on the FLLC blog here, you are giving yourself a chance to win the ENTIRE release that starts on Monday 10-11. Yes the sneaks will start on Monday. We have 4 sets that we will be showing and you won't want to miss your chance at winning them. Read all about it over on the Flourishes blog!

Now I have two creations for you with the sketch. This first one is a journal that I got for the bizarre and recovered the front. I used the Gerbera Daisies set. Coloring these daisies is always so much fun. I used the copic collections Peony and Meadow. I got some of the yummy fuchsia iridescent ribbon that just looked so good next the daisies. Added a little silver ribbon slider and a beautiful journal now.

For this card I pulled out my Apple of my eye, Life lines and Basket weave. I just love these apples with the basket weave set. This is colored using copic collections Poppy and Evergreen. This wonderful chocolate faux suede ruffle ribbon was a perfect match I thought. I did add a few jewels to the sentiment oval and called it good.

Now check out the wonderful Design Teams work using the sketch:

Christine
Cindy
Julie
Leslie
Dawn
Danielle Jan Marie
If you are wondering what the deal is with the new background I had to make a change. A good friend of mine was getting some error message and couldn't access my blog. So we did some changes and well hopefully this will work. Has anyone else had trouble? Let me know please, I am so techy challenged but DH is helping me with all this. :0) Okay enough babbling.... See you back here Monday for Sneak Peeks!!!! Have a great weekend!
