Clear Dollar Stamps Sneaks Last Day

Today is Clear Dollar Stamps last day of the March Sneak Peeks! All sets will be available tomorrow March 1st at the Clear Dollar Stamps Store. Be sure to check out all the sneaks from the DT: :Candy Cassie Laurie Linda Tricia Trudy Barb Christi Shell Gloria Lisa Sarah
First set I am showing you today is called Hydrangea. This is a big beautiful blossom that is fun to color. The teal and blue colors were on the table when I made this one. I have cut out the blossom and popped it up on dimensionals.
Recovered journals is such an easy and quick little gift idea that I do a lot of to have on hand. This one was a bit larger journal to recover so this huge blossom was perfect. Lavendars and plums were the colors I choose for this one. I did not cut out the flower this time. This journal looks much better than it did before I think.
Our next wonderful flower is called Roses to Die for. I have stamped out the rose and added some stickles to the petals after it was colored. Hard to see the sparkle in the photo. Went a little crazy with the jewels but hey roses and jewels are quite the combo. hee hee
More traditional and classy rose on this one with the red, black and white. This is the smaller rose in the set and I cut it out and popped it up on dimensionals. Some sheer red ribbon to tie it off. This card measures 3x4 in size.

A new set called Yearly Occasions for my card below. I paired this with Scripture children for a springy card today. I liked this paper from the Basic Grey Oliva set with the pink and blue and dark background. Really makes this little girl stand out I think.

Hope you have enjoyed the sneaks the last two days. Happy Shopping tomorrow!
On a personal note I am still not feeling to hot but I did get to rest this weekend which helped a lot. I wish this stinkin cold would just go away already. Thanks for the prayers, I appreciate them. See you tomorrow with the Flourishes Christmas Spirit Challenge for March. Have a great day.

Clear Dollar Stamps Sneaks Day 1

Welcome to day one of Clear Dollar Stamps March release. All the sets you see will be available on March 1st over at the Clear Dollar Stamps Store. I will be showing you a few sneaks today with a few sets. Be sure to check out the fabulous sneaks from DT:
Candy Cassie Laurie Linda Tricia Trudy Barb Christi Shell Lisa SarahThis beautiful cross is called Cross Messages and along with this set there is Cross Messages additions. They go together and are very versatile. This one I cut out the crown of thorns and hung it around my cross I cut out. Added a bit of swiss dots to the background.

This cross is using the new die cross that is being released as well. All three layers of this cross are popped up after I cut them out with the cross die. This is a beautiful set and to have a cross die cut to match is awesome. I went with a more rich and olive color tone to this card. Added a few pearls and ribbon to finish it off.

Next is the set called Scriptures of Peace. Now I have to say that when I was working on these cards I was having a very bad day. So to sit and stamp out these scriptures on that day was very creative of God on his part. I needed to have peace and get my cards done all at once. ha ha He works in mysterious ways... I cut the little dove out and popped it up on dimensionals.

A bit more cheery and vibrant when I got to this sample. I added a bit of sprigs and button flower combo for the finishing touch. This card measures 4x4.

Thanks for stopping in and see you back here tomorrow for the last of the sneaks! Have a great day.

The sparkles on the flowers didn't come out as well in the photo. I tried to brighten it up a bit but its still dark and dreary outside, sorry about that.

One is over seas right now serving our country and I know he will get a kick out of the sentiments in this set, so I kept this fairly simple for him. I used the TS Monday challenge for my colors. Did you know that we post a new challenge every Monday? Be sure to check it out! I have added liquid glass to his glasses and I used a few spellbinders for framing. Now Jason who I am sending this to had a little beer gut before he left, however 10 months later he is probably not so flabby as he says. bawhaha

For Aaron's Unit

Is this hawg just fun or what? This set is called Road Hawg from Totally Stampalicious. This is for the TS Monday challenge and Paper Sundaes Masculine color challenge. When I was commenting over on SCS the other day I came across a woman who was making a card to her DH who is serving over seas. I commented on her card for him, I then asked her to thank him for his service to our country along with her service and sacrifice she is making for our safety here at home. I offered to send him a card and say some prayers. She was very kind and gave me his address and said some happy mail would be great. I know it doesn't sound like much but a simple thank you goes farther than we know and I try to make a point of it often. So I am sending him this hawg in hopes to make him and his unit smile. ;0) I added some liquid glass to the bike for a good shine. hee hee I hope they get a kick out of this card.
Be sure to check back on Friday, Flourishes is having a special Blog Hop! Thanks for stopping in today!

Rooms are FINISHED!!!

All three rooms are officially moved and done! yea!!! Here is a front view of my new stamping area/computer office area. I am sharing this desk with our office stuff as you can see. Now its a bit cluttered but I had to get stuff off the floor. I have twice the shelves on top and twice the desk space now. Behind me is the Safe, Doggie bed and the bookshelves.
This is the left side of the desk. Look I have room to have my Grand Caliber out and cuttlebug. Whohoo... So exciting. Nothing is on the floor, we a bit is but not as much as before. Now ranger has much more space to sleep under. ha ha

This is the left side and all my bins that hold my stamps. Yep too many is what your thinking. I even went through them and gave a bin full to a friends daughter. I decided to keep the laptop on the table also for my bloggin and web surfin. You never know what virus is out there and the new computer is not going to get it from my bloggin! :0) I am just so glad its all done. The rest of the room is a mess so I didn't show it to you. lol The boys are thrilled with their own rooms. So worth all the work and effort I say!

Pharaoh's Frogs

The Stampin Sisters in Christ challenge this week is to use green in your creations. This is from the scripture Exodus with Pharaoh and the frog plague. Now Peggy had a great thought on what he was thinking in asking Moses to pray and have the frogs removed tomorrow. I wonder and pondered that request. I would hope that I could be strong and ask him to remove them right now, but I am sure my flesh would of asked for the next day also. It is a good read if you have a minute and it gives you the chance to stamp while you ponder it all.
I made two quick creations. this first one is I thought this little bee would be just too cute in a grassy field by himself. This is from Sentimental Flowers from CDS. I sponged some clouds and added the flowers with the sentiment banner.
This one is again very simple with the flowers stamped and popped up on dimensionals with the sentiment underneath. Very clean and crisp feeling. I did add some pearls at the end just because. We got the rooms all moved and my new desk added to the old one. I will have a photo later tomorrow! Hope you have a wonderful day!

Help For katie Blog Hop!!!

Today is a blog hop dedicated to our very own Katie. Katie is known on the Clear Dollar Stamps blog for her fabulous Tuesday Tutorials, and she has inspired us all with her talent and creativity.
Why a blog hop for Katie?Katie has been diagnosed with Stage 4 stomach cancer. You can follow her story here on Katie's blog. Katie is journaling her journey and sharing it with us all. A very courageous and generous giving of herself to all of us who can find inspiration through her strength. We love you Katie!
What are we doing to help Katie? We, Katie's crafty family, have set up a blog just for her and our efforts to help her. The blog is called Help 4 Katie. When something like this hits a family, you just want to do something. Many, many have already helped Katie through our initial fund raising efforts at Jak Heath's blog. We thank you so much for all of your contributions to Katie. As we all know, medical treatment for cancer can be quite costly and we want to make sure that she has the absolute best! As of today, we are moving our efforts to a dedicated blog just for Katie.
What we have been doing is taking Digital Image donations from many generous artists in our crafting community, packaging them into a grouping, and then asking for a donation to receive these digi images. The first set of images come with a donation of $20, and are now available on Katie's new blog.
We have put together a second package for Katie to help raise funds to fight this cancer! This set of digital images has been donated to Katie. You can get this entire set of digis for only $15! The entire $15 goes to Katie and her family to help her fight this cancer! Please check out Katie's New Blog For all the details on the prizes and donating!

If you just came from Sarah's blog you are in the right spot. If you are just joining us head on over to the Lori's blog to start your hop! I used my Patchpal Giraffe for my card today. I am still not into the Digi world yet mostly because of our darn printer. One day though... ha ha I made a darling baby card with a little charm that I got long ago. Kept this very simple and sweet. I just adore this little giraffe patchpal. The baby sentiment is from the Patchpal sentiments.

Your next stop in Help for Katie Blog Hop is over to Cassie's Blog! Have a wonderful day!

Spring wishes

Friday yeah! We have a 4 day weekend in our house so as you know we are taking advantage of that time and reorganizing 3 of the bedrooms in the house. Needless to say I am tired from packing up 3 rooms the last 2 days. I see progress though and hope its done soon. Today is a free for all over on Flourishes Blog. I thought I would show you a springy card since we are all wishing for the lovely spring weather right about now. Celebrating Spring would fit this months DD theme I think. This gorgeous flower is from Hello Hyacinth. I have the panel popped up on dimensionals, added one of the sentiments for a larger panel over all. See more buttons... I am loving them more now that I find ways to use them. ha ha The water in the jar has some liquid glass on it to make it look wet but hard to tell in my photo.

Easter Freshness

I can't believe it is Wednesday already, this week sure is flying by. Been at the boys school a lot this week and that is probably why it seems like it is going fast. Young Authors is this week and they get so show all their hard work they have been working on. It's always so nice to see the stories and illustrations they make and how they have grown from last year.

Soon Easter will be here and I am getting ahead of the game once again. I need to finish up mine to send out so that when I make the ones for the girls at DH work I won't feel so behind. This egg is awesome its from You're Eggs-traordinary at Clear Dollar Stamps. I have colored the egg with copics and then cut it out and popped it up on dimensionals. I added three ribbons and a bit of swiss dots texturing at the bottom. Simple as can be but I love how the color just pops out at you with the white. What a surprise coming from me. ha ha If you have a Cricut Machine you will want to check out the new card files kit or SVG files that CDS has. You can read all about it HERE and HERE. Plus for you Digi lovers out there the new Digi's for CDS are available!
Well I have to start tearing down these three rooms today for Friday's big move. Yep we are moving my stamping room (sniff sniff) into the office with the puppy, computer etc. and giving the boys their own rooms. One of the big decisions we made when we decided not to sell the house. So lots of work for a 4 day weekend! EEK... Let's just pray that the rooms move without any problems. That includes taking down the stamping desk they built me awhile ago, moving it and making it bigger in the office. Ranger won't mind sharing with me, infact he will have a bigger desk to sprawl out under while I stamp. hee hee I will have a post on Friday for you since I had to work ahead. :0) Wish me luck! Hope you have a wonderful day today!

Berry goodness HMF Challenge

Happy Valentines day! I hope you and your loved ones have a special night planned. The boys and I have worked very hard on our menu this year and what the decorations will be. I am excited! House Mouse and Friends Blog Challenge today is brought to use by Lisa. She is challenging us to use your Favorite House Mouse. ACK are you kidding... How do I decide what my favorite is? I adore them all.

I went with one of the very first and still one of my favorite stamps and sentiments for my card. I adore this chubby little guy all full from his berry eating. hee hee This stamp is called Sleeping With Strawberries. I was looking through all the cards I made with this stamp alone and holy smokes I have 486 House Mouse cards in my file. WOW!!! Now that tells you I have used these for all they are worth and then some. DH was pretty surprised at how many cards I had in my file also. Its kinda nice to look back and all that you have done and grown. Anyways, I kept this simple and sweet with my gingham paper that I just love with the HM stamps. Added a bit of ribbon and button combo and popped him up on dimensionals.
Be sure to link up your creations over on the House Mouse and Friends Challenge Blog so you can have a chance at this weeks prize! Yep this week our sponsor for the challenge is a $15 gift certificate to Simon Says Stamp Store. Have a wonderful day!

From the desk of....

Flourishes Power Hour Release Party is today Thursday at 9pm central in the SCS Forums! Don't forget about the release bundle for the new sets and save yourself a little bit of cash. PLUS there is more, don't forget the Gambler's Sale is going down in price again another 5% from last week. This is your chance to get the sets before the retire!!!

This is a gift I made for the boys teacher using From the Desk of. I used the Grand labels One for this box I created. Punched out the top and bottom of the box. Punched out one size smaller with the beautiful GCD paper I got a few weeks back for the design on the front. Then I took and cut an 8x8 piece of cardstock, scored at 1 inch on all four sides, cut and glued. On the bottom piece I scored the same size sheet at just shy of the 1 inch mark. This way the lid fits snuggly over the bottom. Adhered some scor pal tape to the bottom of both the boxes and adhered them to the lic and bottom. This is a photo of the lid with the cards inside.

Here is one of the cards inside. This holds 5x5 cards and envelopes. This is also for the Timeless Tuesday 104 challenge to use buttons. I am really getting used to using these more and more. Betty will be happy. ;0) hee hee

Here is a photo of one of the other cards in the box. I made several cards of the two you see here. I kept it fairly simple in a few of each. I know she is going to love this. The DP has some fancy sparkles to it but I couldn't get the photo to pick it up. If you click on any of the photos you can get a closer view of the detail. I adore this set!!!

Be sure to check out the gorgeous creations from the girls:Jan Marie

Now I bet you were looking at the IC piece and you saw all that white as I did, right? LOL If not that is okay, but the shimmery wet look of that snow was what caught my eye. I pulled out the Cherry Blossoms for the center of my white and used the Tea Rose Copic Collection to color the blooms. I added a bit of Y19 copic to the center of each bloom. Layered some ribbon and added a few jewels. Very clean and crisp! Be sure to check out the beautiful work of the Design Team girls:

So, get these sets before they are history!
This has been a rough week for me, haven't been able to stamp too much. Figuring out what I can and can't eat has been interesting. However I have found that fish is a great source of protein that I can eat and not have to chew a lot. Very positive along with lots of protein shakes, oatmeal, mac n cheese, smoothies, and tomatoe basil soup. And who knew that Manicotti without the actual Manicotti would be so good? Yes that means I only ate the middle part of the dish, ha ha But it was good. Feeling a bit better now that I can see a few menu options in my future. I hope you all have a wonderful Super Bowl weekend! Go Packers!!! :0)
