FS321 Spring Thank You

Happy Easter! Hopefully you are celebrating the risen savor today with your family as we are doing. :0) This weeks Featured Stamper 321 is Lionsmane with a full gallery of creations. I choose this springtime card to case. Kept a springy image, the layout and some colors. Changed the stamp and sentiment placement. Hope you can play along this week!
My image is called On the Porch that I stamped onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink.

Colored with copic collections:

Once color I rounded the corner as the cased card had and added dimensionals to the back. My base is our classic kraft that I also rounded the corner as the cased card had. My fancy little edge is using our Perfecly Pierced Classic Frames die that I cut in half and layered under the Color Made Easy Crocus panel. My ribbon is also from the Color Made Easy Crocus Lavendar tied into a bow. Added a few clear rhinestones and voila!  Thanks for stopping by today!

Be sure to check out the Whiff Of Joy Blog to see all the creations in one spot! Mine is a treat holder door hanger. I stamped Henry With Large Bow onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink.
He is colored with various copic markers. There is a strip of designer paper added to the pouch with the Heart Lace Border Die-Light at the bottom. The fun Cute Banners Trio Die-Light is at the top with some brad centers and twine bows. The hole for the door handle has a scalloped pink edge for fun. Some fun easter egg gum balls are inside and sure to be gone once the kids get a hold of this. Simple and sweet! Hope you have a wonderful day!

Hello and Thank you

Happy Friday! The design team at Flourishes is full of inspriation today as we decided to focus on an oldie but goodie today Hello Hyacinth.

With spring here, what a perfect set to use for your cards and creations! And, want to know another fun fact? Flourishes recently added a Silhouette Cut File to match this set that you can find HERE!

Well for my post you will be seeing two versions with the same elements yet different designs. First up is my lavendar one. I stamped the large flower onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink.
Colored with several copic collections:

Once colored I scored the edges as I love to do, then I added dimensionals to the back panel. Grabbed another piece of classic white cardstock and die cut the fancy edge at the bottom using Spellbinders Edgeabilites Classic decorative Inserts Three. Layered this panel onto our Color Made Easy Crocus paper.

Tied some of the matching Color Made Easy Lavendar ribbon into a bow tied off with ivory jute and sunflower light button. The sentiment tag is using our Tailor made Classic Tags die with an added pearl. Voila!
Next is another version yet a little different. I stamped the large flower again same thing onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxdo black ink.
Colored using copic collections:

Scored around the corner of this panel as well and added dimensionals to the back. Grabbed more classic white and die cut the same edgeing on this one yet on the left side instead of the bottom. Layered this onto Color Made Easy Emerald Coast paper.

Then tied my Color Made Easy Emerald Coast Teal Blue ribbon bow that has the same ivory jute and emerald coast button. Sentiment tag the same as above. Voila!  Two matching pretty cards I would say.
Now it's time for some fabulous inspiration and all you need to do is hop and leave these ladies below some love in the form of a comment! I know they'd love to hear from you!
Thanks for stopping by!

MFTWSC117 Happy Retirement

I get a call yesterday afternoon from hubby saying "hey I need a retirement card for tomorrow night, can you whip something up for me." He likes golf and worked here for 35 plus years. Can I whip something up? "I said what is this your own personal hallmark shop." Sheeesshh... So here is what I *whipped* up. LOL  I grabbed the fun Gus Golfer that is from Totally Stampalicious that is no longer in business now. sniff... sniff.... However this was a bugaboo digi they turned into a stamp so check out bugaboo.com . Needed a quick sketch so I checked the MFT Wednesday sketch and used it for the card.
Gus is stamped onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink.  He is colored with various copic markers.
Die cut using SPellbinders Standard circles and scallop circles that I popped up on dimensionals. My sentiment panel is suppose to look like the flag on the green and I scored around the green panel for fun. Swiss dots for texture on the base and voila. A retirement card done! Hope you have a great day!

Love grows

The week is half over I can't believe it. Time sure does fly by anymore... The new challenge for Whiff Of Joy blog is up and it is all about butterflies. Create using a butterfly somewhere on your creation.
I went easy peasy today with our Butterfly Trio Die-Light and a sentiment from General Sayings 2. My sentiment is layered on our Lovely Doily Die-Light then popped up on dimensionals. Pink was the theme on my desk today as its rather pinkish alla round. ha ha!   My paper is from My Minds Eye The sweetest thing Lavendar paper back. Added some lace and ribbon trim and a few snow white pearls. Voila! Hope you can play along this week!

FTTC213 You are Amazing

Time for another Timeless Tuesday challenge, and this weeks challenge is sew wonderful. Sewing real or faux. Be sure to check out the FLLC Blog for details and linking your creations. Went with faux stitching and most of you know I have no sewing machine or skills in sewing. ha!  Two sets were used for this creation today Inside and Out Congrats and Hearts and Flowers. Both are stamped onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink.
My heart is colored with several copic collections:

Once colored I cut around the heart and popped it up on dimensionals. The designer paper is from my scrap bin. I took the beautiful Laurel Venise white lace trim and adhered it to the side of the designer paper. Then I pierced the edge along the side for the faux stitching that I added some lined Gelly Roll Sakura pen to for a shimmer yet hard to see in the photo. Did a tiny bit of the faux stitching under Are in the sentiment as well.  Finished it off with a few pink rhinestones and voila! Hope you have a wonderful day!

Birthday Dress up

Good morning! Hopefully your weekend is as relaxing and fun as mine has been. It really is nice to have some down time every now and then and appreciate these kind of weekends. I have a darling birthday card for you today using Maya Dressing Up. Super cute isn't she? Just makes me smile. Stamped Maya onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink. Colored with various copic markers.
Went with just the standard square framing and popped the panel up on dimensionals. Created the sweet Heart lace border Die Light  to go under my ribbon bow. Added a few of the tiny sweet open yellow roses to the corner and the ribbon bow center. Added the sentiment from General Sayings 2 with a v-notch end and finished it off with a few of the enamel dots. Voila a darling birthday card.

Christmas Tag

The Christmas Spirit challenge for March is just about over already, eek! You can read about it HERE in the Fan Club Forum. We would love for you to play along with us. Just think of all the extra time you will have come the holiday's when you are sitting back drinking some hot cocoa and listening to everyone else frantically coming up with a Christmas card.
The challenge for March is Leaves of Green! Anything with leaves, any leaves that are green, how about 3 leaves or 3D- pop up your image. Have fun with it. When you load your creation to SCS please put keyword SCSCCMAR13 so we can find your creations!
Figured I should work on my Christmas tags each month as well as my cards so this is one of the tags I created with scraps from my card this month. Might have to do this every month for matching cards and tags. hee hee  My creation for is using Naturally Merry that I stamped onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink.
Colored with copic collections:

Once colored I grabbed some of the Color Made Easy Pistachio paper and die cut using our Perfectly Pierced Classic Hourglass Die for the center image. Then cut around using the lighter green and then the larger die. My sentiment is popped up on dimensionals with a pearl added tothe side.

Tied off the ribbon using CME Pistachio moss green ribbon with a ivory jute and a button. Voila! . Hope you can join us this month.
Today is fun day! Nothing on the calendar, no sports, no school project (book reports can wait) no homework no nothing.... aaaahhhhhoooohhhhaaahhhh! LOL   I hope you have a great weekend.

Fill your paper and mojo

Happy Friday! I am ready for the weekend, how about you? Science fair was last night and the presentations of all our hard work with the boys the last month. It was a fabulous night, the kids did awesome. I am glad to be done. ha!  Now we have a new book report to work on... it never ends.  ;0)
Today on the Flourishes blog we are all showing you some more creations with our new stamps that were released last week. If you missed the sneaks be sure to head on over to the gallery and see all the samples. A reminder that our New Release Bundle of savings on all the new sets ends soon. Don't miss your chance at a discount and some savings.
My creation today is using the wonderful new set Forget Me Not Notes. I stamped the sentiment onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink.
I also stamped one of the smaller flowers in the set off onto scrap paper then stamped it over the sentiment and colord with a few copics collections:

The sketch is fun and a little different for me, it is using Mojo Sketch 282. My designer paper is from the back Love Story from Echo Park. We have a few 1,2,3 Create Kits with Love Story left if you didn't pick this kit up yet. Some of the light pink cardstock in Color Made Easy Poppy and our Classic Black cardstock for the base. Added the black flourished pearls for the side and a few scattered pearls. Voila! I really do love all that white space with the splash of colors and black... ooohhhhaaahhhh...  ;0)
Be sure to check out the creations from the DT today and have a fabulous weekend!
